‘Rooski Kloob’
Потерять - to lose.
That’s my word for the past few weeks. Don’t worry - it’s not quite as sad as it sounds. I lost my phone a few weeks ago. But that was how I was able to stay on top of my “Tumbling” most of the time, so now, I’m checking things out and I feel completely out of touch.
There are friends’ blogs (Amanda) that I haven’t read in weeks - new people who have followed me and I want to check out your blogs - and worst of all - all those posts that I haven’t been able to see and probably won’t be able to catch up on.
But I’m here for the moment and just wanted to say thanks to everyone who’s been in touch with me, even if I haven’t been able to be in touch back.
I am always touched to log on and see what I’ve missed while I’ve been away. Keep up the good work!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

I usually don’t talk about my work life on here. But this week I started a new job that I’m pretty excited about. You may remember that I take language classes from GLN (The Global Language Network)? Well, from now on, not only will I be a student, I’ll be their Executive Coordinator - helping to schedule classes, keeping the students and teachers happy, etc.
After getting my degree in Russian Translation 7 years ago, this will be my first full-time (and permanent) job that is related in any way to foreign language. So far I’ve got 3 days on the job, and it’s been a great experience!
