Дед Мороз
This is a Дед Мороз (Russian Santa) doll that my husband gave me for Christmas the first year we dated (2001!).
I was confused when I opened it because there were locks of long curly human hair dangling from the wreath. Turns out he had saved it when he got his long hair (that I never got a chance to experience) cut off. Yeah, it was kinda weird, but I married him anyway. (And I still have that hair.)
